According to the Wall Street Journal, the government plans to sell $48 billion in three-year notes, $38 billion in 10-year notes, and $26 billion in 30-year bonds. The government plans to use “long-term issuance as a prudent means of managing its maturity profile and limiting potential future issuance volatility,” a Treasury official says.
