⁍ Copa Airlines said on Thursday it has received government approval to restart flights in mid-August to about 10 destinations.
⁍ The airline had spent months with its entire fleet grounded due to the coronavirus pandemic.
⁍ Copa CEO Pedro Heilbron said the restart will be limited and some of the destinations will include New York, Miami and Sao Paulo.
– After being forced to cancel all its flights due to the H1N1 virus, Panama’s Copa Airlines will resume flights in mid-August to about 10 destinations, including New York, Miami, and Sao Paulo, its CEO tells Reuters. The airline had originally planned to restart flights only in September.
